Singer of the Year

This week, BYU had its annual Young Artists of Voice competition in order to name the singer of the year (1 male, 1 female). The first round was on Tuesday--the top 25 voices in the vocal performance program each sang 1 piece. That was cut down to the top 15, who each sang 2 pieces. The finals are tonight at 7:30 and it's my first time to make it to the last night. I get to dress up in my formal gown and sing 3 pieces for 3 judges from outside of BYU. It will be a wonderful experience and everyone in the finals wins a scholarship. I'll keep you updated on the finals!
