Wardrobe Wednesday

Down East just got some new summer dresses, and I am LOVING this chiffon floral ruffle-edged dress:
The dress is so feminine (and mostly dark), so I would pair it with some bold, chunky accessories like these (oh-so-comfortable) Born flowered heels and Betsy Johnson necklace and earrings:
Just so you know, the dress is almost the cheapest item in this week's Wardrobe Wednesday. It is only $4.99 more than the earrings. But come on, you can't find accessories like these just anywhere!

Wardrobe Wednesday

Well, we are finally getting back into the swing of things since being home from New York (pictures coming soon!). So that's why there was no Wardrobe Wednesday last week. This week will be a little different. I have been slightly obsessed with Forever 21 lately. They have the cutest sweaters, tops, headbands, jewelry, and handbags for CHEAP. They're dresses and skirts are adorable, but WAY too short. I know they're not the highest quality ever, but these clothes are SO cute. These are some of my favorite clothing finds.

Sweaters ($19.80-$26):
Jackets ($14.99-$29.80):
Tops ($9.99-$32):

Wardrobe Wednesday

To get into the spirit of NYC, I was watching Gossip Girl season 2 while cleaning, doing laundry and packing. One of my all-time favorite Blair fashion moments is this gorgeous red silk Catherine Malandrino dress:
That is all I have for today, lovelies... I have to finish packing.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Swimsuit Edition

I must say, I am a sucker for retro-glam, as today's Swimsuit Edition will show. Swimsuit, cover-up dress, espadrilles, and bag.
I did forgo jewelry today, but I would probably pair this with some hoop earrings and bangle bracelets, just to make it really fabulous. Enjoy!!

Wardrobe Wednesday

I've been thinking a lot about my graduate recital lately, so this week's Wardrobe Wednesday is going to be a formal look. Here's a 1920's inspired dress, t-strap heels, pearl/rhinestone headband, earrings, necklace, and bracelet.

Wardrobe Wednesday

This week's Wardrobe Wednesday comes to us from ModCloth.com (thanks for the tip, Kileen!) Floral dress, bow headband, peep-toe shoes, rose earrings.
Unfortunately, most of the really cute stuff is sold out. :( AMAZING website though... you should check it out.

Is it Thursday?? Whoops.

Here is Wardrobe Wednesday... a little bit late. We are going a little edgier this week with this oh so cute black and white striped dress*, stripe/flower headband, flower heels, ribbon/link bracelet, and earrings.
I did go back and forth for a while about the shoes. I LOVE these, but I think the dress would look perfect with a great pair of leather peep-toe booties. Once I found the headband, I was sold on the shoes with the flowers... it brings it all together, don't you think?

*I know the dress is too short for those of us who must be more modest, but you can throw on a pair of leggings like these and not have to worry a bit.

Wardrobe Wednesday

This week's outfit is inspired by the B-E-A-utiful weather we've been having here in Utah. Plus its totally an outfit I want to buy myself for a little trip we're going to be taking this Christmas break...
Dress from Chadwick's (so inexpensive!), Jessica Simpson sandals, headband (same as last week, I know, but its a good one), and Kate Spade earrings and bracelets. Enjoy!

Wardrobe Wednesday

I LOVE polka dots and I LOVE wrap dresses and bows and pearls. Basically, I love everything about this outfit. Plus, you could wear this in so many situations: school, work, date, church, brunch, etc.

Hope you enjoy!!
